​I am proud to call myself a native of Southern Pines, having lived in the area for over 25 years. Although, I have ventured out to a few other parts of North Carolina such as Raleigh, Sanford, and Wilmington - something keeps pulling me back to the Southern Charm found in Southern Pines (pun intended).  A couple years ago I found myself ready for a career change. I had always been in the medical field, yet it never felt like a true calling.

​​After a short time working at Venus Spa, I knew I had found my real calling. Being one of six daughters, I have been empowering other women literally my entire life. Reminding my little sisters - the sky is the limit, and nothing should ever hold them back. I adore being their favorite hype woman telling them how flawless they look before we head out or stay in for a girl’s night. Too many women allow physical insecurities to hold them back.

As the spa manager, I love working with a whole girl gang who are here to help other women feel more like themselves. Though, to be honest, it often does not feel like work when you do what you love with a team you adore!

When I am not at the spa I’m usually with family. This could mean binge watching our favorite shows, lending a helping hand to my sister’s phenomenal interior design business, dominating the competition of Favorite Aunt, sharing a glass of something yummy and laughing until I snort. I’m a gal of simple pleasures and although many say money cannot buy happiness, it can adopt a dog and buy a taco – and I’ve never been sad when I’ve had one of them in my hands!
